25 Best Infographic Resources

July 23, 2012 by Aidan Bradley in Business, Design with 12 Comments

If you’re a regular reader, then you are sure to have realised by now that I am a HUGE fan of Infographics. After all these years of coding and consulting, my attention span has pretty much been whittled down to allow pretty pictures and % signs.

On a more functional note, Infographics are great to use to add weight to your claims and comments when dealing with clients. On the rare occasion, I have to try and talk a client out of something, or gently sway their scope or intentions, Infographics (when I can find them) will generally replace graphs and pie charts of my own. Why? Because instead of saying “Hey, who’s the professional here, listen to me.” I now have the backing and support of another company or group who have also ran the numbers and came to the same conclusion as validation for my claims.

In the spirit of such, here is a round up of some of the better infographic sites out there.

  1. Visual.ly - Awesome community for creating and sharing infographics.

  11. Infographics Archive – A visual library offering infographics.
  12. Visual Loop - There’s an infographic for it… even if it didn’t happen!
  13. Infographr – All about infographics.

Awesome! I’m a big fan of charts and everything that can be visualized in graphic form. I used to draw venn diagram for everything. The resources you’ve listed are great, I’m already familiar with most of them, http://www.visualizing.org especially. I did a cool project for school based on a graph of theirs.

I also like infographics quite a lot, especially those related to business and macroeconomic data. But the little figures tend to be quite interesting themselves, when it comes to a specific range of products for example

This article goes straight to my favorites. I like the infographics. I find in them a way to explain things very simple. Using other resources, I don’t know if this task would be as effective. Similarly, not only practices in relation to the information they provide, but also make a very creative way. Include infographics in a document, make a difference. It´s a resource that gives our work a lot of hierarchy. I’m gonna take a while to visit those websites. Thanks for sharing those links. :)

Thanks for the resources. Info graphics are gaining a popularity. I’ve seen them used a lot in business and sports lately. I’m a student pursuing a degree in business and I might even be able to use them in some of presentations. They also look great on sales pages.

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I had never heard of infographics until recently. I know a lot of people take in information better visually rather than just reading words on a page. So, I can see how infographics would be a popular choice when trying to present data to someone, especially in a business setting.
