5 Amazing Advantages Of Smartphones
If you are not yet an owner of a Smartphone, then you are indeed missing a great deal of awesome benefits that this mobile phone can do for you. For your general information, a Smartphone is a more advanced version of the older mobile phones because of its credible features and capabilities while at the same time giving you the function of a computer with its usage.
Smartphones are ideal for entrepreneurs, corporate executives and other individuals who are always on the go and don’t have ample time to do internet surfing or online transactions on their PCs. Smartphones offer the mobility that you cannot get from a normal/standard cellphone. They have the power to equip you with anything, anywhere and at any preferred time while working on something important at that moment.
Below are 5 amazing advantages of Smartphones:
1. Incredible power within your reach
Smartphones are created for your convenience, so their makers presented them in easy to carry sizes. Compared to the usual mobile phones that we are used to, the Smartphones are bigger in size with wider screens and full “qwerty” keyboards. Some even provide collapsible Bluetooth keyboard. They function as your laptop in their smaller size that can fit in anyone’s pocket.
2. Keeps everything highly-organized
Owning a Smartphone keeps everything for you to be highly-organized. It can be your scheduler and reminder of important appointments, business meetings or any corporate gathering that you need to attend. You can store as well your contact lists and allows you to stay connected anywhere. It keeps you updated with what is going around you, your business or office.
3. Stay connected all the time
A Smartphone like a Blackberry will give you all the freedom to browse or check any emails and can even synchronize all your email accounts. You have the privilege to stay in contact with anyone all the time, giving you enough room to work productively and in a more efficient manner.
4. Quicker communication
Most Smartphones are made with more updated configurations, thus, enabling you to explore the internet with a faster connection. The end result would be quicker communication to anyone with their powerful features of “always-on” internet connection.
5. Gain access to your business or company’s files/data
Having a Smartphone that you can carry around allows you to gain quick access of your important files/documents from your business or directly from your office table within your reach anywhere and at any time without the need to bring your laptop.
True indeed, in all aspects that having a Smartphone with you, whether you are a business owner or a corporate executive away on a convention, you gain full access on whatever you left behind with the help of this pocket-size, tech-savvy gadget—Smartphone.
Our Smartphones in today’s digital age could contain so much information, making our lives and our day to day transactions easier and quicker. Who would not be truly amazed with what these Smartphones can actually do for us, just like when you are ordering your favorite Iced Java Coffee in any Starbucks in the US where you can just wave your phone infront of the cashier counter and pay for your coffee drink or transfer funds from your bank account to top-up your mobile phone with the use of a Smartphone. That’s how incredible our gadgets have gone now for our convenience. It’s time for you to discover the real power of a Smartphone.

Yes, I really do think the smartphone was one of the ‘smarter’ creations out there. I got my first one many years ago and there has been no looking back since.
You are basically walking around with your office in your pocket. Love it! Nice article, thank you. (-:

To me, being connected and available all the time is a massive disadvantage.
I work at a computer all day, working for clients, dealing with emails and admin, researching, doing accounts, etc. So when I stop work at the end of the day, I want to stop work and not be bothered by emails and client messages.
Having that distance is good for my mental health AND my bank balance

I didn’t realize how much I’d use the functions of a smartphone until I bought my first one just over a year ago. Although the iPhone is not as good as a computer, it can handle much of your organization and email functions quite handily, as well as give you information while on the go.
I set up an app that connects to my business’ network attached storage, so I can get access to all my files from anywhere, and it has been great in some cases when I’m out of town and would have had to wait to get the data I needed.

Once you get a smartphone, it’s hard to imagine being able to work without one. This makes it really frustrating if your smartphone breaks down, though. It has happened to me and I lost all my contacts (including ones I haven’t synced to my laptop yet). These glitches can be really frustrating, so if you do get a smartphone, don’t forget to back-up your data.

They are a heaven send when it comes to being able to access your clients and customers. Since I began using my smartphone, primarily for my eBay business I have found that I
am able to respond to my customers concerns more promptly, and in turn, it has increased my positive feedback percentage and people are leaving positive comments about how swift and efficient my communication is.

Until some years ago, I always thought “I don’t need a smartphone ” , and kept using my old, simple mobile. Since I bought an iPhone last year, I just save a lot of time while I’m on the run. I’m more organized as well and get reminded to appointments, can send e-mails fast, get connected to friends etc. I wish I would have bought a smartphone much earlier, it would have made things so much easier.

The first time I got my smartphone, I didn’t realize it would always be glued to me. Its my calender that reminds me all the time instead of looking at a paper calendar; its my connection to people when it comes down to my online business; its…..pretty much a part of my life. I also constantly check my email which because a distraction but I can’t help it. I have to reply back to people’s questions lol. And here I thought I didn’t need some high tech phone years ago. Now I highly depend on it.
