Why Should A Company Create An Impressive Website?
As companies try to achieve global competitiveness in today’s modern era, online visibility proves to be the perfect formula in gaining popularity in any parts of the world. Preparing your business to the continuous evolvement of creative innovations is already a necessity and this is where the importance of creating an impressive website comes to reality.
We as individuals have been accustomed in impressing others in the way we dress, speak or act and same concept should apply on how we present our company online. It is a known fact that most website owners have spent time, money and a good deal of mind boggling moments just to come up with a truly unique and extraordinary website design. Others even resort to hiring the best website developer in order to produce a website that is of world class specification.
Here are some of the common reasons why a business owner should invest in the creation of an impressive website:
- Better global positioning
If you want your company whether it has been operating for decades or just starting, that you create a website to position yourself strategically all over the globe. Having a website gives you wider extent coverage in any part of the world at any time of the day.
- Concrete representation of your business
Finding a way to let the entire globe know that your product or service exists is made possible through the development of a credible website that would be your main representation of your company’s overall image on the web, what is has to offer and what consumers in return could get from spending some of their time browsing your website.
- Online visibility 24/7
Having a website gives your company an edge over other businesses who haven’t build their own websites because it allows you to connect to millions of targeted consumers all over the globe 24/7 for their utmost convenience.
- Attract more online visitors
Creating an awesome website with superb website design, superficial features, better navigation and search engine optimized will surely attract huge number of online visitors. What most online users look when they search for a website is the colorful layout and graphic designs of a particular website at first impression. Aside from this, they will also consider the valuable content of the website, what they could get from it. Satisfying the needs or wants of these online visitors could lead to the generation of possible new clients that would later on be your potential buyers.
If it turns out that you are just on the first stage of deciding whether to build a website for your business, then I do hope this topic had shed some light on the whole importance of a well-designed website. Find the best website designer or creator for your intended website. You can either choose a static or dynamic design. Whatever design you choose be sure that you update your web developer about your specific requirements, targeted goals as well as your company’s logo and other factors that will give an x-factor effect to your online visitors.
Now is the perfect time to get your business noticed and the answer to that is the creation of an impressive website. Dare to be different…

I agree with your post. In thee difficult times, it is rather difficult to attract customers and visitors so having a great website will give you an edge over competitors. Not to mention that customers are tech savvy these days so even your existing customers may visit your website and may not be pleased if you have a poorly designed website.

Yes, I definitely do agree on all these points. In order for a company to be relevant today, having a great website is essential.
A website that makes an impression adds so much value to a company, and that can only be a good thing. The investment of time and money in that respect is vital I feel. Very much so.
Nowadays as soon as one hears of a company’s name, we Google to check their presence – and their relevance. Great article and truly informative.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your second point: concrete (vitally important word, there!) representation of your business is the primary reason for going online. Not only that but *consistent* representation: a voice that ties in with your offline advertising, your company style and everything else you do to promote your brand.
The vast majority of business owners – especially small businesses – still seem to think that an online presence is something they “have to do” rather than something that they “have to do because of the positive results”. That’s a significant difference.

I totally agree with you. If you’re trying to start or run a professional company of any kind. You really need a website to boot. If you don’t have a website no one will take you seriously in the business world. The internet is the future. You’d be able to get away with not having a website for your company maybe 20 or 30 years ago but not today. Having a website not only lets you reach more potential customers but it also helps customers see that you are indeed professional and easy to get in touch with. A professional looking website is a must for every company whether it be online or offline based.

Absolutely agree that businesses need a website. As Spike said, it is a concrete representation of your site than can build credibility and provide information to prospective buyers. And I agree with Smokey that it helps customers see you are professional and available.
I don’t agree that it must be “impressive” though. Simple, easy to use and professional are more important traits I think, especially as more people access sites via mobile devices so impressive features are lost or frustrating.
Your site needs to reflect your business and not be a copy of others, but being different in too many ways (e.g. placing menus in strange places or not underlining links) confuses and frustrates people.

I believe creating a professional & interactive website is crucial to having a good business. The wordpress platform offers a lot of customization to the point where the untrained eye wouldn’t even know its wordpress. The countless number of free & professional themes are great and plugins make it even more custom. You still need to rank good though in SEO and Google otherwise no one will find your website!

When I as a surfer will visit a site, the first impression will be the lasting impression. Hence, the design of a business or company website is very important. The more professional and catchy the website is, the better will be the recall value.

I agree. If I am considering ordering something from a company and I find that their website looks bad then I just wont order from them. I know it sounds stupid but to me, a bad website means a badly run company.

Having a website is much more convenient for customers who have little time to visit their products’ business centers. It also provides companies a better customer service because it gives people more options on how to connect with them. A website gives the impression that a certain company is up-to-date with technology, thus, making it seem more reliable.

I have to focus on redesigning my website. I am very inspired by this article. It’s important indeed to build an online presence that is not forgotten. Your website is almost the equivalent of online real estate, so you have to treat as valuable as you would your office.

This is good sensible article. I heard the other day an argument on website apperance vs content. When it’s commonsense that both of those is not enough. From easy navigation to a sound approach to the visitor, there’s a lot here to take home.

Those are all good points. I think it is so important for a business to have some kind of online presence in today’s market. One of the first things I do when deciding whether or not I want to do business with a company offline, is to see if they have a website or not. Having a good website can provide a lot of useful information to consumers that they may not get otherwise. And as you mentioned, it gives the business presence to potential consumers 24/7.

I commented on this article before and I would just like to add that there’s nothing like going to a website and staying there for hours because you simply love the content and the design. I personally think that it takes both to impress and to engage the prospect. You will need some type of hook to from your company’s theme to keep your prospects coming back.
