Tasks You Should Outsource
As a business owner it is imperative to know what tasks you are good at and what tasks would be better performed by someone else. If you are not properly educated in certain areas, outsourcing will benefit you and your business immeasurably.
Marketing
If you are not familiar with marketing tactics, it may behoove you hire a marketing professional. There are so many different ways in which to conduct marketing for each and every business and industry that it is difficult to know which way is the right way. Having a professional who understands how to reach the appropriate people at the right time through the proper channels will help to make the return on investment into marketing skyrocket.
Taxes
The world of taxes is one that needs much navigation. Going at this alone could be something that could cost you more money than if you paid a professional to do it in the first place. It is difficult, at best, for the average person to know everything that there is to know about tax codes. Reputable professionals are required to keep up on their tax information and therefore can ensure that your tax return is done to the letter of the law. Not only that, if you use a tax professional to prepare your taxes, they will be there to assist you should you be lucky enough to go through the process of an audit.
Website
Designing and maintaining your company’s website should be done by a professional. All too often it is obvious when a company is designing and maintaining their own website. It takes a keen eye and understanding of the process to create and keep up on a professional appearing website that will service your customers in the way in which you desire. Although there are companies that offer templates for a website as well as step by step instructions, the sites still have the appearance of a template. Use a professional to get you the edge you need in order to succeed.
Legal
Do not try to perform your legal tasks as this could open the doors for disaster. Protect you and your company by seeking the assistance of an attorney to help you with things like contracts, disclaimers, patents, collection of debts, privacy notices, and the like. An improperly written document could be detrimental to your company’s future, not to mention your own. Remember that attorneys are not just useful for legal proceeding, they are more effectively used to prevent legal proceeding. Even though legal services can be expensive up front, it will not compare to the cost you may incur if you were to be involved in a legal battle.
Knowing where to outsource will be key to your company’s future. Understanding that you are not able to perform all of the duties all of the time will help you to be able to put your focus in the areas in which you excel. Remember that trying to save money by doing things yourself may be more costly to you down the road. There are professionals out there, so find them and use them.

Great advice, Andrew (or is it Rodger?) Outsourcing tasks to a professional can save time and money even though it may feel a bit scary to outlay the money.
It may take you 3 hours and ‘cost nothing’ to do a task but if a professional does it better, you save 3 hours in which to earn money and can work off their better result.
Outsourcing marketing for most small businesses will probably be too expensive, but getting a marketing plan outlined for you can be a huge benefit.
Other outsourcing tasks to consider are book keeping, writing, social media monitoring, email marketing, design work and basic administration.

I think outsourcing can save your time and most important money!
When you do the tasks you always lost a lot of time… and the good point about outsourcing is that it’s faster because the professional do the work in speed. I also believe that outsourcing can be difficult in some cases, maybe tiny business that aren’t getting enough money to pay others.
I work for an outsourcing company, I do graphics and web design. It is fantastic. Great post! Thanks for sharing.

This is definitely a must read article for all those DIY selfers like me. I actually have wanted to outsource for a long time. I am an artist and I find that I just want to concentrate on my art and nothing else. After all isn’t that what all the hub bub is about and what you are creating your business around? Great article!
